What is a YouTube OAC
One major key to thrive as an artist is to maintain momentum and keep the attention of your audience. Youtube Official Artist Channel helps artists do just that.
If you’re an artist on Youtube, setting up a Youtube Official Artist Channel (OAC) will combine all your content from your topic channel, Vevo channel, and your existing channel, allowing you to share and get comprehensive insights into your content and music. All of your content will be in one place which makes it easier to direct your fans to your music and content.

As for reaching a wider audience, YouTube’s Artist on the Rise gives you the chance to be showcased by YouTube and reach more viewers by making your music more discoverable in YouTube searches. You’re eligible for this if you have an OAC and at least 1,000 subscribers.
Why Do I Need a YouTube OAC
Setting up a YouTube OAC is a good start to diving deeper into your craft. And without one, your YouTube presence might feel a little all over the place. When you consolidate your channels, it’ll become significantly easier to direct your fans to your music. On top of that, all of your likes, comments, and subscribers will increase. Among the many benefits of signing up for an OAC, one useful feature is Analytics for Artists. With these analytics you can see analytics designed specifically for your music content. It helps you understand your performance across YouTube no matter where your music is featured. You can see analytics for your long-form videos, shorts, stats from channels that you own, and other channels where your music is featured with real time insights.
